ANNUAL PLANT SALE The Soil and Water Conservation District of Lake County has been offering an annual plant sale for 23 years. This year's sale will take place on May 3, 2006 from 8 am to 7 pm at the Lake County Fairgrounds. The deadline for all orders is April 14, 2006. Consistent with its conservation goals, the District is offering a large variety of healthy and hardy native trees, shrubs, seeds, wildflowers and grasses that thrive in northern Illinois and come from some of the best nurseries in the area.
